Drinking Guidelines for Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

This table details drinking guidelines for alcohol consumption by women who may become pregnant, are pregnant and are breastfeeding issued by government bodies in various countries.

Please note that general recommendations for healthy adults are detailed separately in the Drinking guidelines: General population table.

Standard drinks are shown in grams of ethanol.

This table is updated on an ongoing basis as government entities publish and revise their guidelines. It was last updated overall in February 2016.
